“The fears we don’t face become our limits.” It’s a quote by Robin Sharma.
It’s one of my top 5 favorite quotes.
It’s about self growth, pushing boundaries, discovering our hidden potential, allowing ourselves to become stronger, better, faster.
It’s about courage. It’s about acknowledging our fears, and taking action despite having fear. It’s about letting them go slowly, a little at a time.
It’s about discovering that fallacy of fears. Most of them only seem scary, but are not so in reality.
It’s not about attacking all our fears head on, at the same time.
It’s about acknowledging one. It’s about taking a tiny step of courage while being afraid. And then a step again. Take a step back if you need to. But then take a step forward.
When you overcome one fear, overcoming others will become slightly easier.
Courage is a muscle you build one rep at a time. Overtime, the results compound.
Know this takes time. It’s a marathon. Don’t expect miracles.
Direction matters more than speed. Keep moving in the right direction regardless of speed.
Expect small wins. Celebrate each win, but don’t rest on your laurels. Keep moving.
Because we all have fears. Even the ones who seem fearless have fears.
And know – The fears we don’t face, become our limits.
