Ever have this urge of showing your children who’s the boss?

Doing it once a year, maybe? But doing it continually, on a daily or a weekly basis? Now, that is dumb.

Sure, it may make you feel good. But ever stop to think how it makes your children feel?

More importantly, ever stop and think, why are the children misbehaving? (Here’s a clue – Because they’re bad children is the wrong answer).

Read that again, and meditate on that sentence.

Showing children who’s the boss relieves the pain temporarily – FOR YOU.

But it scars your children for life.
And it never solves the underlying problems.
